Nitric oxide has been shown to counteract the oxidative deterioration of penile tissue while enhancing relaxation responses adversely impacted by stress.
So while there’s no direct link between both factors, low levels of nitric oxide due to low intakes of banana could indirectly exacerbate problems associated with erectile dysfunction including blood vessel dilation or reduction in sexual activity motivation.
